How to use Marco Polo with Tawny
between sessions
Need me mid-spiral? I got you. Talk to me through Marco Polo — a video chatting app — for all the “WTF do I do now?” moments. ‘Cuz life doesn’t hit pause in-between sessions.
Here's how it works
Please note: This is a space for light coaching, not a substitute for full sessions. Urgent or in-depth topics are best saved for our 1:1 calls.
The dos and don'ts
Marco Polo is your between-session lifeline. It's where you can reach out, vent, celebrate, or ask for a gut-check without waiting for our next call. But it’s not an open-all-hours, unlimited free-for-all — here’s how to use it without burning us both out.
✅ What You Should Use It For:
Quick updates — tell me what’s clicking or what’s not
Wins worth celebrating — yes, even the tiny ones
Talk it out — when your brain is doing mental gymnastics and you need to hear yourself think
Reflections before or after a session (no need to wait until we're live)
WTF moments — like when you're mid-situation and thinking:
“I know what we talked about, but THIS is happening and I don’t know what to do with it.”
“I caught the pattern, but now I’m frozen — what’s my next move?”
“I thought I was over this. Why am I spiraling again?”
Basically, if you're staring at the ceiling thinking, "Tawny would know what to say right now," send a Polo
📅 When You’ll Hear Back:
I reply to Polos Monday to Friday
Usually within 24–48 hours, depending on when you send it
Weekend Polos = I’ll get to it once I’m back in work mode
📏 Boundaries (So We Both Stay Sane):
Max 4 Polos a week — that’s more than enough for most folxs
Keep it under 5 minutes — you’re not making a podcast
Don’t overthink it, but do be intentional. This is support, not a brain dump hotline.
🚫 What It’s Not For:
Emergencies — I might be off-grid, in bed, or in a K-pop wormhole
Full-blown coaching sessions — save the big stuff for our calls
Random life tangents that have nothing to do with what we’re working on
