Coaching Policies & Guidelines
How do I use my Paperbell account?
Paperbell is your client hub.
It's where you can:
Book and manage your sessions
Track how many sessions you have left
Access worksheets, session notes, videos, etc.
View billing and payment details
👉 You can learn more about how to use your Paperbell account here.
Do my sessions expire?
Yes — and this is important.
Your coaching package includes a set number of sessions that are meant to be used consistently (weekly or every other week) so you actually see results. Because of that, every package has an expiration window:
1-month package → expires 2 months (60 days) from purchase
3-month package → expires 5 months (150 days) from purchase
6-month package → expires 9 months (270 days) from purchase
12-month package → expires 18 months (540 days) from purchase
Any unused sessions after that window are forfeited and do not roll over.
If you space your sessions out too much, you may not be able to use them all before they expire — so it’s your responsibility to stay on top of your scheduling. (And yes, I’ll remind you… but I won’t chase you.)
What happens if I forget to schedule a session?
If you forget to schedule a session, nothing happens automatically — but your sessions are still subject to your package’s expiration window.
That means if you wait too long, you may lose unused sessions.
👉 Best practice: book your sessions in advance
You can schedule up to 2 months ahead.
What if I need to reschedule a session?
You can reschedule directly in your Paperbell client portal. You must give 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or change the time of a session.
Less than that, and it’s considered a late cancellation.
Rescheduling is discouraged, so please book times you can realistically commit to. That said… life happens. I get it.
What happens if I miss a scheduled session?
Late cancellations (under 48 hours) and no-shows are charged in full
Missed sessions are not eligible for rescheduling
If late cancellations happen repeatedly, I may end our coaching relationship. (No hard feelings—just protecting both of our time and energy.)
What if I’m late?
Sessions start and end on time.
If you’re late, we’ll still end at the scheduled time.
If you’re more than 10 minutes late, the session may be considered missed.
How should I show up to sessions?
Join from a quiet, stationary place where you can be fully present.
For safety reasons, sessions cannot be taken while driving or from a moving vehicle. This is focused work — and it works best when you’re not distracted.
How does between-session support work?
You’ll have access to me via Marco Polo for support between sessions. I typically respond within 24–48 hours on weekdays.
This is support — not emergency or real-time coaching.
👉 Learn more about full Marco Polo guidelines here.
Who's responsible for my results?
You are.
My job is to help you understand your patterns, challenge your thinking, and build a plan.
Your job is to actually implement it. That’s where the change happens.
What coaching is (and isn't)
Coaching is not therapy, medical care, or crisis support.
This work is focused on helping you understand your patterns, regulate your emotions, and take aligned action. If you’re dealing with more severe mental health challenges, I may recommend additional professional support.
Is our work confidential?
Yes. Everything you share in coaching is kept confidential, unless disclosure is required by law or there’s a risk of harm.
What happens if my payment doesn’t go through?
All payments are automated through Paperbell.
If a payment fails:
Your upcoming sessions may be canceled
Coaching will resume once your balance is resolved
What if I want to cancel coaching?
You (or I) can end the coaching relationship at any time with written notice.
If you’ve paid in full:
A prorated refund for unused sessions may be issued at my discretion
Refunds are not guaranteed
If you’re on a payment plan:
Future payments will stop after termination
No refunds will be issued for payments already made
After the initial 24-hour grace period, all sales are considered final. Any exceptions to this (like partial refunds) are made at my discretion.
